The CEB® Clean Energy Building is the leading international trade fair and conference for energy efficient buildings, technical building equipment and regenerative energy production. Under the motto “Think Future”, the event also focuses on other innovative topics such as energy storage technologies, efficient lighting systems and green services in addition to these three core themes. With over 6,500 visitors and 200 exhibitors attending last year's event, the CEB® has grown in recent years to become and leading industry meeting point and driver of innovation for current themes and trends in the building and renewable energy sectors. The trade fair is accompanied by a comprehensive conference program and takes place annually in Stuttgart.

Requirements on modern building envelopes are quite demanding. Appearance, energy efficiency, sustainability and comfortable living must all be brought into sync with each other. Energy efficiency is the guiding principle of both modern building envelopes and the CEB®: From the building foundation through insulation, facade systems, windows all the way to the rooftop, the event showcases every level of efficient building and renovation systems and strategies. The building envelope as the home power plant of the future combines the principles of energy efficiency and energy production. With its focus on these key aspects of sustainability, the trade fair addresses the strong focus currently shared by many politicians, trade associations and special interest groups alike. Several industry groups, component manufacturers, consultants and planners use the CEB® as a B2B and information sharing platform. The CEB® combines innovative technologies and attractive subsidies for key players in the energy transition. “Our stated goal is to strengthen the link between the areas of building and energy efficiency through our trade fair by incorporating all the products connected with energy efficient buildings and presenting them to our visitors,” notes Jasna Röhm, project manager of the CEB®, while explaining the trade fair concept. The Clean Energy Building has gained a strong reputation over the past years, particularly through its high ratio of qualified visitors and its broad conference program which brings numerous industry experts to Stuttgart every year. The event provides visitors with the unique opportunity to scout out practical solutions covering every aspect of building efficiency.
